WAAP ( Women Action Against Poverty) is a community driven humanitarian and development organization dedicated to strengthening resilience and improving the well-being of vulnerable populations across Kenya.

WAAP began as a local effort focused on supporting women and vulnerable families who were struggling with the impacts of poverty and environmental hardship. Community members came together to create practical solutions that could improve livelihoods, strengthen cooperation and expand opportunities for those who had been left behind.

As the organization gained experience and trust within communities, its work naturally expanded. Programs began to include livelihood support, education initiatives, health awareness and activities aimed at strengthening community resilience.
