
Ibrahim Mohamud Abdi is a seasoned humanitarian and development professional with over 10 years of experience managing integrated programmes in health, nutrition, WASH and livelihoods across Kenya and Somalia. He has a strong track record in leading large, multi-sectoral projects, overseeing teams of over 100 staff and delivering impactful, community-driven interventions in complex and fragile settings.
Each team member brings a unique set of professional skills, including expertise in project management, community outreach, fundraising, advocacy.

Ibrahim has held senior programme roles with organizations such as Vision Corps Initiative, Islamic Relief, and Save the Children, where he led project design, implementation, monitoring, and donor reporting. He brings deep technical expertise in public health programming, immunization, nutrition strategies, and emergency response, alongside strong skills in stakeholder coordination, resource mobilization, and strategic planning.
Currently pursuing a Master of Public Health (MPH), Ibrahim combines academic knowledge with extensive field experience, demonstrating a strong commitment to improving the well-being of vulnerable communities. His leadership, analytical capabilities, and results-oriented approach position him as a valuable asset to Women Action Against Poverty (WAAP) in advancing sustainable development and humanitarian impact
